In Yin Yoga each posture is held for 3 minutes or more. This opens into the thicker layers of connective tissue around the joints that a moving, dynamic practice may not access as effectively. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to a dynamic practice and an extremely subtle and profound practice on its own, offering space for students to slow down and soften.
The focus is on feeling, as through practice we develop attentiveness and refine our awareness. This practice is open to all wishing to slow down and soften.
