February Newsletter
After such a wonderful study tour of India, I am back on the mat and teaching all my regular classes.
From February we will be looking at the Chakras, these are part of the subtle energy within the body that you can’t see or touch. There are 7 chakras in total and we will be exploring one a month, starting with the base chakra, Muladhara. This chakra connects us to the earth, it provides support and stability as well as grounding us. Our practise will free up any imbalances within the chakra and pave the way for an energy shift.
This year our monthly workshops will work along side our theme of the Chakras but will be in the format of a 2 hour masterclass (a bit like an extended class but with time for questions or comments). The afternoon will be filled with in-depth practise with detailed instruction and will include asana, restorative yoga, meditation, pranayama and savasana. The first masterclass will be on Sunday 8th March at 2pm and the focus will be Muladhara Chakra, the investment is £20. Please contact me to book your place.
I am now accepting applications for the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course. A 6 months personal development course. More details on the course and the application process can be found here.
Thank you for purchasing raffle tickets and making donations during December, I will be able to donate a further £200 to Opening our Hearts to Bhutan.
